“Das extensões possíveis que um corpo pode acolher para tornar-se o seu delirante sonho chegamos ao cyborg. Ampliada condição de sobrevivência. Limitação como potência.”

O projeto parte do desenvolvimento de uma série de próteses orgânico-industriais criadas sob um dos princípios do biodesign que é o de estabelecer estruturas com a mínima resistência necessária para existir, em contraposição ao design industrial. A partir destas próteses a investigação concentrava-se em expandir a percepção através do uso destes dispositivos buscando uma presença mais atenta, acolhedora e afetiva que pudesse expandir da performance para a vida cotidiana.

Durante o processo o hackeamento de procedimentos de espécies do Reino Vegetal, em especial plantas que sobrevivem em meio ao concreto das grandes cidades e de plantas epífitas em abundância. As materialidades foram escolhidas apartir da coleta de materiais nos trânsitos entre ateliês. Durante o processo o método científico, de investigação artística e de observação fenomenológica foram integrados & confrontados e o projeto se manifestou em uma junção de performance-instalação com conferência científica e exposição dos dispositivos vestíveis.

Na exploração de uma existência cyborg mulher-planta-máquina, da máquina extraímos os materiais necessários para que as próteses e extensões possibilitem à mulher o novo formato, o novo devir, o novo CORPO. Ou o novo CORPO-MENTE.

O projeto foi desenvolvido a partir da Residência Artística e de Pesquisa Obras em Construção da A.C.C.C. Associação Cultural Casa das Caldeiras e o desenvolvimento dos dispositivos contaram com os seguintes espaços de coleta e desenvolvimento: Casa Tot, Casarão Dois Irmãos e Galpão Base entre as cidades de Gravataí (RS), Bragança Paulista e São Paulo (SP). O projeto foi atualizado posteriormente durante o XVIII Festival Arte Serrinha após o Laboratório do Olhar, com Veridiana Aleixo e André Martinez. Durante o Festival Páideia aconteceu um laboratório com os integrantes do Programa Juventudes do Sesc Interlagos.

The project starts from the development of a series of organic-industrial prostheses created under one of the principles of biodesign, which is to establish structures with the minimum resistance necessary to exist, as opposed to industrial design. Based on these prostheses, the investigation focused on expanding perception through the use of these devices, seeking a more attentive, welcoming and affective presence that could expand from performance to everyday life.

During the process, procedures were hacked for species from the Vegetal Kingdom, especially plants that survive in the midst of the concrete of large cities and epiphytic plants in abundance. The materialities were chosen from the collection of materials in transit between workshops. During the process, the scientific method, artistic investigation and phenomenological observation were integrated & confronted and the project manifested itself in a combination of performance-installation with scientific conference and exhibition of wearable devices. In the exploration of a cyborg woman-plant-machine existence, from the machine we extract the necessary materials for the prostheses and extensions to allow women the new format, the new becoming, the new BODY. Or the new BODY-MIND.

The project was developed from the Artistic and Research Residency Works under Construction at A.C.C.C. Casa das Caldeiras Cultural Association and the development of devices relied on the following collection and development spaces: Casa Tot, Casarão Dois Irmãos and Galpão Base between the cities of Gravataí (RS), Bragança Paulista and São Paulo (SP). The project was later updated during the XVIII Arte Serrinha Festival after Laboratório do Olhar, with Veridiana Aleixo and André Martinez. During the Páideia Festival, a laboratory was held with members of the Youth Program of Sesc Interlagos.
